JAGEX? As in Runescape Jagex? As in couldn't make a decent MMO if they had too? You cant be serious. Plus as much you want this to be true, it probably isnt. While a FF7 remake would do wonders for the PS3, with its current sales, it isnt a good investment for Square OR Sony right now.

That hurt my head just looking at it, let alone trying to comprehend it. Anyway, are you sure it wasnt DoC? I HIGHLY doubt that Square would have a working build of the game, and NOT have announced it to anyone, not even dropped any hints about it somewhere along the line.

In any case, you are lying to yourself if you think that FFVII is going to be remade secretly. I also heard from this guy who heard from his cousin who's dad used to work with this guy's roommate who works for an spinoff company of Bungie that says they are going to make a windows XP version of a prequel game of the original halo which will be released sometime next year. *FOR FUTURE REFERENCE* FFVII fanboys please take head to this advice as to avoid MORE embarrassment in your every day life. The FFVII technical trailer on the ps3 was made ONLY to show off graphic capabilities and NOTHING ELSE. You are a moron to think that it was just the beginning to a remake.
Granted i am sure that a couple years from now there is a somewhat decent possibility for a remake, i am even more sure that you will not see it for quite some time.

Just goes to show Square can't come up with anything original anymore, so they have to re-hash their tired, crappy series.

I never really played a Final Fantasy game before .. so when this comes out it will be my first FF game. With everyone talking about how great the 7th was .. it should be a great game

I learned from another thread what he was talking about.

Square Enix made a demo to showcase the graphical output of the PS3 last year. It was a rehash of FF7 and was meant to be exactly what it was: a demo.

It is not a real game.
