I got SOCOM II about thee an a half weeks ago. I haven't been playing it much actually. Been paying more attention to Tony Hawk's Underground with online play. But yea, it's pretty fun.

Now that I'm off from school, I'll probably find more time to play SOCOM II.

Gah. I fucking hate the developer of SOCOM II. Soooooooooooo many bugs during beta testing and we told them every single one we found. Number fixed in final version - 0. I could tell you how to exploit every single bug in the game and cheat like a mother fucker, but I won't

I'll tell you one thing that pissed me off about SOCOM II...

This October, I went out to buy one of those TalkNET headsets, because my dog chewed the microphone part of the original headset. The only reason I bought the TalkNET headset was to play the upcoming SOCOM II. It even says on the box, "Works with SOCOM".

Then when I finally get SOCOM II, my headset doesn't work. I'm thinking at first something is messed up with the headset. Then Ifigure out that Sony only allows Sony made headsets for use with SOCOM II

Also, you lucky beta-testing-bastard. My friend's a beta tester, he said it's great. He gets paid to play pre-release games. Now, how much better of a job could you get??? You couldn't, that's that answer, my friend.

Who does he get his betas through? Is he a part of the Sony GAP or does he go company-direct?
I got mine through GAP but a job I'll be getting into soon will have potenial to receive reviewer copies of games.

NOICE nestle, yeah i know a lot of bugs, and i think i milked most of em out of the first one. I play the new one in a clan on socombattles.net so i can't really use the bugs anyway. they're not that fun to begin with though. The only game I've betad was Planetside...WORST GAME EVER DON'T SPEND THE 50 BUCKS TO BUY IT LET ALONE SPEND THE MONTHLEY FEE!...sorry. any game that requires more than a gig of RAM to barely function should be burned
