Is this worth the effort and the price to import? I've heard it was good but the problem is that i don't understand japanese

The fact this game has One Piece characters in it already makes it look intersting. I'll look into this game a bit more. =\

I've played Shonen Jump Allstars and I didn't really like it that much, but then again I only played for a few minutes (aka two battles).

I am quite certain that game is in American retail stores, actually, and for a lot less than $50. The DS is so popular that imports are becoming a reality. I saw some import titles in Best Buy of all places. You might want to check that out.

The problem is as you say though. It's Japanese. There are probably online translations if you need them, but some of it might be hard for you even with them.
