Everything is put 2-dinensional in a 3-dimensional world. It is a little different, which is nice. Think of Mario RPG "legend of the seven stars" but 2-d/3-d. There are seven stars, which actually help you in this one, and bowser is the bad one. That is a generalization though. It isn't really that close.

I still think think mario Rpg is much better cause of the great advance it made on Snes 3D gameing.
Paper mario is still fun cause of the plot but it was 2d for crying out loud lol. and it made alot of bad paper puns and Toad.T puns
