So I just grabbed a copy of this for the PC, I was pretty amazed by the cool slow motion movements and effects. Like for example, if you throw a grenade blow the living **** out of a guy it might automatically go into slow motion to watch him asplode. I'm not sure if that particular effect is random or what, but you can also slow down your movement manualy to 'Bullet time', where it allows you to move in slow motion to dogde bullets or other projectiles. There are also Bullet Time Combos, which is where you go into BT, and jump to either side, backwards or forwards, and shoot your enemies in the air until you hit the ground.
The storyline is pretty wholesome, it isn't just some bland, pointless storyline. mafia members murder your wife and baby, and you get caught up in all this mafia stuff and whatnot.
