HALO 2

The topic gets peoples attention.

The one thing i cant understand is how Halo 2 is STILL so popular despite its age, i mean i dont like halo 2 at all so im probably biased about the internet play but damn.

even the story mode on Halo 2 is horrible, although i like the first Halo storyline. heh heh.. flood.

the only shooters i respect to this day is Goldeneye 007 and Perfect Dark for the N64. maybe theres more but i cant think of it just yet.

so yeah, post your opinions on Halo vs Halo 2 storylines

Halo 1's storyline was amazing because of how amazing and orignal it was, especially the controls and vehicles, and multiplayer was great, too bad XBL didn't exist back then.

Halo 2 was more focused on the multiplayer and XBL. The storyline wasn't what everyone expected, which is why everyone thought it was terrible. Personally, I think the storyline was great, but not as great as Halo 1. The big disappointments was that there were only 2 Earth levels! Plus there were no ATV which I really loved, and the arbiter player, which no one really wanted to play as. Multiplayer was what showed the gaming universe how far bungie could go with XBL and the amazing graphics. If you have XBL, you would say that Halo 2 is amazing, but if you don't , then there would be a debate about it.

This is only MY opinion in Halo/Halo 2, so don't spaz on me about my opinion on it.

Nobody cared about the storyline. Everyone just cares about killing their friends on xbox live.

A generic first person shooter with a generic storyline that has amazing multiplayer replay value and soundtrack that overshadows the former.

The only time I find Halo even remotely interesting is when my friends attempt a lame XBox party, with no food.

It was fun, I kept on thinking the guys sitting next to me was on my team, but he wasn't. We lost many games because of it.

Of course I'm walking around with my Magnum and I suddenly get head shotted, from nowhere.

This is why I hate first person shooter games, I never get to know what is happening, at all.

That just means you need to pay more attention to places where people will likely hide or just more attention in general.

It's not like our mind just shuts off when we play FPS. You may end up thinking more times in this game than you would in a tactical game.

Jesus, is there really a POINT in putting all of those characters in your name instead of just putting "Ninja."

I think "Ninja" looks a hell of a lot better, and to me, it doesn't look like you're playing the official version, so you should be able to get whatever name you want. Then again, I've NEVER used Steam or played Counterstrike of any version.

its the official verson of counter strike source. you can copy characters from character map and paste them

lol i dunno i thought the characters were cool when i made it. as for the knife, in CSS you can take your weapon files and photoshop them into whatever you want. I didnt do that one though i downloaded it.
