    Guild Wars

So, I picked up GW:Factions because my roommate plays it all the time and now we're trying to build our guild up because a lot of regular players have left.

So if you play, and aren't particularly attatched to your guild, lemme know. <3

    Anyway, about the game itself:

I like it over World of Warcraft in a couple of ways, to be honest. It's more of a thinkers game than a skill/gear based game. It doesn't require you to waste your life playing it in order to have fun and still be valid.

I really don't see where you got that idea, but whatever.

I have a couple of characters on the original, a level 20 Emo and a level ten or twelve Mo/Me, but I haven't played in ages and won't pick up Factions...

I never quite got anybody to 20.

          So I never got Factions.

Regular RPGs (aka: not action-RPGs) bore the hell out of me. =\
So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(

In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz.

So now I'm on Twitter @NoahWright.
And I write the blog for their website.

Plus I do cool programming in-house that you'll never see. =O

The other plus side about Guild Wars is that the free online pay definitely off-sets the relatively expensive price for the game itself.

I got Guild Wars to play with my friend, but I really haven't gotten very far. It's a pretty casual game... I don't have Factions, either.

The free online play makes it instantly better than FFXI, though. Dang, that stupid game cost me a fortune per hour I actually played it.
