Ok I've been having problems lately with gaming on my laptop. It wasn't built for gaming and I know it but I still play them. I have an Intel Celeron which is horrible for games to my understanding. I have 248MB of RAM, 40ishGB of HD, a weird resolution of 1280X768, and everthing else, (Graphics Card, Motherboard, etc.) are all stock Dell. It's an inspiron 1300 too...
Ok enough about the computer. Now about the ingame problems.
1) CounterStrike: The only game that doesn't have any problems except minor lag bursts and server lags. Normal resolution. (800X600)
2) MapleStory: Takes forever for the game to start up and when it does it lags. Lags. Lags. In game it lags like crazy when I'm completely alone or surrounded by enemies. So I took to having to play it downstairs on the main computer when someone isn't on it.
3) GunZ: It never gets passed the Loading InterFace Skin part. Wtf?
WTF. I'm thinking more RAM and new Graphics card.
PS: Would substituting that Page File Usage memory that acts as RAM work for my games?
