I played the GBA one, but that's a piece of poo. I'm not nearly good enough to be a competent player at the real GG games. However, I do concur that it is the best fighter series ever made.

Definitely the best 2d fighting series. Everything else is either too slow (Capcom vs SNK 2, etc) or pure garbage (MvC2 laylaylaly).

I barely ever get the chance to play it any more, but I used to have a decent May and Millia game.

Even though it is 2d, it is still pretty much the best game in my book, even up against 3d fighters.

The close second is street fighter 2 turbo, and well, soul calibur 2. GG is just on a level of its' own. It is truly amazing.

I love faust.

I like it because it is faster paced. I like milla (not sure if that is her name... the hair girl). SUPER CHEAP COMBOS XDDDDDD Good game overall... I've only played it in the arcades because I'm too poor to buy the home version but its still fun all the same.

Oh man, GGX2 is so fun. Whenever I play it I end up getting
blisters on my thumb from pulling off the combos and other
moves. Chipp, is great because of his incredible speed, and
Faust is fun to play as when I'm fighting my friends 'cuz he messes
with their heads, 'cuz he can teleport kinda. I'm thinking about
getting the one for the DS that came out a while ago.

GGXX used to be the fighter until the main hangout in the area got shut down, and GGXX was taken away with it. I have the home version, but playing the computers and just a few friends that know how to play gets old fast. Chipp is my main character, but I play as Kliff Undersyn at home for fun when I actually do play. I wish that another machine would spring up in an arcade somewhere where I could actually play against new people again. It's probably the best fighter out there.

I've played GGX2 a few times. Started out with Faust but then fell in love with May. I really don't know anything at all about this game, so I'm pretty much just a button masher (well, more of a newb, as I know all her moves and actually think about my game as opposed to just hitting buttons). I'd like to really get into it, but there isn't a machine or anyone to fight anywhere near me.

I play GGX and GGX2. It's definitely an awesome 2D fighting game. I wouldn't put it as THE best, but it's pretty high up there. Capcom vs SNK and 3rd Strike gets my pick for top 2D fighter.
