    Grandia 3

8 hours until I get it, I'll document my experiences here. I have read a few reviews and they say its pretty good, but I'll know for sure soon.

I know this may be biased (see username) but... Okay, yesterday I skipped school and played 17 hours and 32 minutes of Grandia 3. In short, I liked it lots. To begin with the graphics are the most beautiful I have ever seen in an RPG. I know some RPGs have had better graphics but those in Grandia 3 evoke a storybook beauty I have not seen. The story is pretty good so far (I won't spoil it) But the hero, Yuki is really likeable and you have to like a guy who fights giant monsters with his mother tagging along. And as always the battle system is tremendously fun, with a new circular IP gauge and arial combos. Yeah, so buy it.

There really are quite a few refferences to the first two games. I'll list them when I have time. Some of them are really obscure and some are just hard to spot. Hint: The boat that Schmit saves from pirates in the beginning. Look familiar?
