PS3 Release Date and Info

Gamestop has blown the lid on Sony's US PlayStation 3 launch plans, revealing dates and a wealth of titles.

All priced at a whopping $59.99, the retailer, recently under fire following issues surrounding the launch of Xbox 360, highlights 30 titles and expects the PlayStation 3 to ship on or around October 1st this year.

The complete list of titles for October 1st reads:

Hmm a few of those titles don't look possible. Spiderman 3 won't come out until June of next year as a movie so why release the game 8 months before the movie comes out? Anyways, the games I'm looking forward too are:

Devil May Cry 4 is the only title I care about on that list.

However, it is more than enough for me to pick up the system as soon as it launches.

Same. I really would like a true co-op feature in DMC4, but that will never happen.

DMC4 looks like the killer app on the list. But I'm really intruiged by the lack of sequels. Some new franchises might surprise.

More like $450 for the system itself and it's a forced bundle with certain games you'll probably hate.

That's what I've heard at least. I've been had before.

Its not bundled with anything as far as I know.
And if it has to do with videogames, and I don't know about it, it doesn't exist.
