It was recently(last year) renamed to Ashen Empires, and now it is FREE instead of like $10 with a choice of buying the expansion pack. Without it, this game is still so incredibly huge that you won't be missing stuff by not paying. Then again, you can buy it and get more than you need if you have spare money.

Gameplay: This is really fun, and quite addictive. You have the choice of just fighting with a multitude of weapons ; there are in general 10ish of each type of weapon, which can have +1-5, and about 10 types of weaponry(spears, halberds, crossbows, etc.) One thing that sets this apart from other games such as Maplestory is that it has tradeskills. These are all particularly fun, and incredibly equal, even if in most games there's only one to three ways to make money from tradeskills. There's farming(my favorite), smithing/smelting(different skills), foraging, wool spinning, and others that aren't always very common in other games.
Amount of people/community: I haven't met one annoying person in this game, but then again there weren't many people there. Now that it is free, I am expecing the towns to have at least twice as many people, however I don't know if they'll still be as nice. People tend to be very friendly to noobs.
Graphics: 2D, somewhat overview with no camera scrolling. Now that may seem lame, but the way they made the graphics makes it incredibly awesome. It's hard to describe, but the animations and lighting are beautiful.
How long does it take to get to the max level(100 or 105 in expansion)?
Probably 6-8 months, it isn't an easy trip, but then again, it sure isn't as boring as it would seem.
