    Guitar Hero

    This game is awesome.

    I should mention a little about it.

    It's a music simulator game that uses a guitar controller. Game layout is similar to amplitude, except you have to use the fret keys on the controller and use the little strummer thingy to play notes. There's also a whammy bar which you use to bend held notes around.

    Musically, it's got some awesome songs.

    *Thunderkiss 65 (White Zombie)
    *Ziggy Stardust (David Bowie)
    *Smoke on the Water (Deep Purple)
    *More Than A Feeling (Boston)
    *Cowboys from Hell (Pantera)
    *Sharp Dressed Man (ZZ Top)
    *Bark At The Moon (Ozzy Osbourne)
    *You've Got Another Thing Comin' (Judas Priest)
    *Iron Man (Black Sabbath)
    *Take Me Out (Franz Ferdinand)
    *Crossroads (Cream)
    *Ace of Spades (Motorhead)
    *Killer Queen (Queen)
    *Cochise (Audioslave)
    *Fat Lip (Sum41)
    *Take it Off (uhm... I totally forgot.)

    The unlockable songs, for the most part, were contest winners of some kind. I havne't heard much of it, as I just barely beat it on Medium difficulty today and unlocked them all.

      I saw this game on display at Bestbuy. It looked interesting. I have played Guitarfreaks and I wasnt impressed, but this might be better.

          lol, I was playing this game just last night. When I first tried I failed miserably and it made me remember why I gave up on trying to play the guitar. But after you get a hang of the game it's actually quite fun...I still fail miserably at it though. As me and my friend said, "It's the white people version of DDR"

              This sounds way to similar to Guitar Freaks. Guitar Freaks was a good idea, it just wasn't any fun though. I might check this out later... Do you have to buy the guitar controller or does it come with the game?

                  The controller comes with the game. It costs $69.99 + whatever the tax of your state is.

                  I'll get around to making a list of all the songs in the game that I've unlocked so far and edit it back into the first post. I've tried playing Cochise about 50 times in a row now (not exactly) on the hardest difficulty and can almost get a minute into the song, heh.

                      Guitar Freaks has a terrible controller with 3 buttons. Guitar Hero's controller actually emulates a, you know, guitar. It has frets and slides and stuff. From what I've seen, it looks great. I think I'll pick it up for Christmas.
