Another four games? x__x

I have the first four .hacks (although I'm still on the third one and have little motivation to play), and it was just too much. It's cool and I like the story and atmosphere, but the gameplay is just way too much dragged-out repetition. (I'm also stuck now with physical-resistant monster areas and no good magic-users available to party. -_- )

Physical resistant monsters are ridiculous. And those damn mimic things that constantly confuse your melee fighters are just so fucking annoying you could rip your hair out. What i do is i never go to any areas without having at least one wavemaster and one melee type (blademaster, heavy blade, axeman). Its a damn good thing that your allies who you arent currently using level up by themselves and you dont have to go through every area again with every person, otherwise it would be unbearable.

Ugh, I forgot about that Confusion or whatever it is when your teammates attack you. They're so strong they kill me rather quickly... it ends up being people dying, me reviving, healing, and everything until I run out of MP, then use items to fix that, and repeat until I either run out of items or die when no one is able to revive me.

I used to have Mistral with me at all times (along with Piros usually), and she was awesome. But unfortunately, she is unavailable as of the beginning of disc 3. Elk's unavailable too. I don't even remember what was wrong with Wiseman, but there was something. Maybe he just sucks because I never used him or gave him any good equipment.

(And lookie, we both have Azumanga Daioh cats in our avatars oh yeah, we're so cool.)

Yes, i hate it when a powerful melee gets charmed or confused and wipes out the wavemaster in one shot.

Piros sucks lol. As someone once said, "thank god for Terajima Ryoko, because if i had to listen to that dumb song every time i wanted a heavy axeman i would have punctured my eardrums."

Dont worry about not having a wavemaster, once you meet Wiseman youll have someone to heal..in fact im at the 3/4 point in game 3 and ive been using nobody but Wiseman almost the whole time.

And yes, we are so cool.

Maybe I'm weird, but I like Piros. His theme didn't really bother me (I like dorky things XD ). Got it stuck in my head somewhat often, though.

If I didn't use him, next up was often Gardenia. She's pretty cool. And then there's Rachel. I think that's her name... I didn't use her that much, but she's awesome just because of her voice actor (Japanese). Same as Kero-chan in CCS... I recognized it right away. I love the Osaka dialect. X3

I have met Wiseman already. I don't remember why he was sucking. Eh, I'll figure it out someday when I decide to pop the game back in again.
