I've just recently got Unreal Tournament 2004. It's a great game and all, but there seems to be lacking a community. At the same time though, there feels to be a deep "underground" community somewhere. I've also noticed a few recent screenshots of the game floating around here on FFR. I know I've seen Squeek post one of his two LCD setup. So what am I getting at..

Where does everyone play? That is, if I'm missing something other than the usual servers that show up through the master server. How about a nice FFR meetup and frag? Most other online games here have had at least one get together through this site.

We had some kind of meet-up a few months ago. I don't really remember the specific number of people, but it was like 5 or 6 of us. It would be cool to have another, since the last one didn't work out too great.

Mainly because I forgot about it. XD

I uninstalled it though. I didn't play it anymore and I wanted my 5 gigs back. I might install it again once I get another hard drive (RAID 0 baby, yeah!)

A meetup would be marvelous. There just has to be a bit more people before anything gets started. That also seems to be the only problem I have with this game so far.. I don't tend to see the same people twice to getting buddies seems to be a bit tougher, and it's always more fun to play with people you know.

It's a spectacular game, but I don't actually play multiplayer. Played once with IAMTHEEVILBEAN. Once. It was on some crazy settings with automatic sniper rifles... anyway.

A meetup on this would rule. If we get enough, we should totally do Onslaught. Or Assault if people actually know how to do them.

If you're going to be a pansy about it, O.K. If we're having a meetup then what's the point of not coming? Especially if that's all you do. (eve online wtf gtfo rofl)

Map voting is wonderful. Just start with anything, then you can rummage down the list of maps to find deathmatch or assault.. etc.. So no real need to setup any game type. We can just play what we feel like.

How about we start getting a list of names so we can schedule this?

A Unreal Tournament 2K4 Meetup? OMG I'm so there. UT2K4 is one of my favorite FPS of all time. The game is just pure fun. Kenzya I don't know how good you are but I would own you in a pure 1 on 1 match in GrendlKeep.(sp?)

Feuergiest, you're a cool guy, but come on.. If I didn't know, then I would have had to have been living under a rock.

I'm only upgrading from Unreal Tournament, and I did just get the game like a month ago. I also had to take the time to explore all those mods and total conversions. I'm only like two weeks in to the game. It really is a big step up from the first one.
