    Goodbye San Andreas

Guess what video game fans? GTA: SA has been pulled from shelves and will become te very first ever AO (Adults Only) game in history. Why? Due to the sexual/violent nature of the game, Congress has pushed to get this game to become an adults only gme for some time. Now, Rockstar games has been forced to remove the game from shelves until all of the games can be restickered wit the AO symbol. Here's a link for more details.

I'm don't GTA:SA wasn't the first game to be given an AO rating. Wasn't there a game rated AO published many years ago by 3DO?
But after all of the copies of GTA:SA get labeled AO, the game can't really be sold anymore. Retailers might be too afraid to sell them, or if they do, they'll just shelve far away from the cutsomer's eyes.

Wow, I personally think it should stay rated M. It's a good thing I bought the game months ago.

Now my copy of GTA is rare.

          SWEET!
So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(

In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz.

So now I'm on Twitter @NoahWright.
And I write the blog for their website.

Plus I do cool programming in-house that you'll never see. =O

Oh no butterfly. Bloomberg Today has stated that with the finances of Rockstar with this change, trying to sell your copy of SA on Ebay won't net alot of money. Also, I bought a copy of the original game today at EB Games. A guy I know there was still selling them out back of the store.

I agree with gamepro. I believe it is getting that rating from that "Hot Cofee Mod", I don't think the game should get a AO rating becuase of that, they should have just left it the same as M rated and if you want the "Hot Cofee Mod" just download it somewhere.

Check ESRB ratings for video games and apps, including age ratings, content descriptors and interactive elements.

go there and search for AO games.

so it's certainly not the first AO game, and also not the first console AO game...but that takes away from how "cool and hip" the game is, so let's keep that a secret from the media, mmmk?

EDIT: fixed the huge page stretching link.

I think it'd be more rare if you hurried and bought one that had an AO rating. Seeing as they'll re-release the game, with the code completely gone, most likely...your version of the game is not rare at all. how many did they sell for the PS2? unless you have the xbox version (I don't even know if the mod works for that one, but that'd be much more rare, seeing as less of them sold)

Uh, it's not rare at all. I'm sure 5 million+ copies have been sold.

Its funny because Leisure Suit larry is an M rated game. Plus most of the games on the list aren't even known so that's why I'm saying SA is the first AO game because its well known and has sold millions.

Research dude. They re-realeased an AO version of leisure suit larry, available for purchase onine. I've actually seen it advertised a fair amount. And just because GTA is well known doesn't mean it's the first.
