What do I think of Counter-Strike?

I think it's an okay game. But I also think it's not entertaining enough. Sure, it takes a level of brain power and reflex to play it, but it's just not satisfy enough. Every round, it's just the same thing. It can be very fun, but that would involve having inteligent people that are interested in having fun, and not retards that think so-and-so are hacking.

I find Natural Selection much more satisfying. It requires more brain power, and the community of players is usually much more friendly. Plus, the theme and atmosphere of the game is uber-cool. Everyone digs science fiction.

The only thing that keeps me going on CS is competative play. You haven't really played CS until you've been in a good clan and played in a league.

NS is pretty fun...I don't play it much, but I know could never play it as long as I have CS.

It's the worst game to ever exist, I hate it and would remove it from existance if given the chance. But that's just me.

I, for one, know a little what it's like to play CS "properly." Yeah, it is cool emccky. But, for people that aren't willing to be in a clan, and play on public servers, proper playing never really happens. Hell, the only place I get to see some of that is at the CPL. Weren't you there, emccky?

I haven't played CS for years so of course I'm bad at it, I used to play it, wasn't great at it but I realised that it's an incredibly over-rated mod with most of the players whining and crying like little kids. The game had/has? so many hackers, and the lack in variety of gameplay and repeating the same goals over and over gets old fast. Attack, defend or camp, shoot, throw a grenade or two, maybe defuse a bomb or rescue a hostage, die or live, repeat. Yipee.
