    GTA: SA multiplayer

I finally got a chance to play it (just a lil while ago) with somebody and WOW. For something that is new and not very well done, it's hellafun. It could be improved ALOT, but it's insanely fun. The guy I was playing with had never played SA before, so he sucked and didn't know his way around, so mainly we just ran around killing people, but it was still so much better than running around killing people by myself.

Now, if you've played other GTA games, you'll know that Rockstar always has a crappy version of what's to come. Like, GTA3 had one plane you could fly, but the flight system sucked and you could only stay airborne for 15 seconds or so. GTA: VC had a better flight system, but it was still annoying and hard to use, though helicopters were available and easier to use. GTA: SA has an awesome flight system, making it easy and fun to fly planes AND helicopters. You see, in each game, they introduce something new and then improve on it in each game.

For this reason, I think GTA multiplayer will be EXTREMELY fun in future games. The only really terrible things right now are:

-both players have to be on the same screen, so you can't get too far away from each other
-aiming is harder with 2 players, mainly because the view is different
-certain vehicles (planes, maybe others, havent experimented enough) can't be entered by both players, which limits the cool stuff you can do
    -there is no split screen!!!
-no free aim, which is made up for with the ability to target cars, but is still annoying
-sometimes it's hard to tell who is who, especially when far apart and the screen is zoomed out. At times I'd lose track of myself, my partner, and everything. It would help if there was some soft of player indicator (like in sports games, with a lil circle around your feet)

Mostly, the worst thing is the view. If they implemented a system like in War of the Monsters where the screen splits when players are far apart but merges when they come close, the multiplayer would be vastly better. But yeah, all you guys diss GTA, but if they ever make an online GTA, it'll definitly own.
So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(

In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz.

So now I'm on Twitter @NoahWright.
And I write the blog for their website.

Plus I do cool programming in-house that you'll never see. =O

I've played it too with a friend. I honestly don't think I've ever laughed harder in a videogame. First we got a motor cycle, he drove and I shot everyone out. Then, when the police came, we put in the weapons cheat and started taking everyone out. We then got the police cruiser and drove off to the mountain side, got on a motorcycle, climbed the peak, and leaped off. We SURVIVED.

    Good times.

We really wanted to fly in a plane together, but it wouldn't let us, so I tried just standing on the wing. It worked for a lil while, but the cops had bashed the plane (plus the guy sucked at steering because he'd never done it before) so we went of the end of the runway and crashed into the water. I laughed pretty hard seeing CJ crouched on the wing of a smoking plane as it tried to take off. I'll have to try it sometime (when the cops aren't on us) and see if a 2nd player can stay on the wing like that while it flies.

However, my funniest GTA moment has to be when I ran myself over with a taxi. I'm not sure how it happened, but somehow or another I managed to jump out of a taxi as I was going high speeds and wind up in front of it and get run over. It didn't kill me right away, so I just sat there watching myself be crushed under my own car. It was so weird.
