I have to say PS2 because i'm absolutly in love with grand theft auto and driver...which you just cant get on game cube....
but, gamecube is more friendly.....dontcha think?

I think that both are good. They have different games. So if you want to play one, you just swich. Hmm.. maybe they should make a PgameScube. Get it? If you read, you see PgameScube! PS is for playstation and gamecube is for.. well.. you know.. gamecube! I have a stupid idea.. huh?!

Errrr.... I'm gong to say PS2 for the sheer number of games it has in it's library! Sure half of them are crap, but the other half is decent... and from that other half, like half of those (1/4th if you will) are just plain amazing.

GC is a close second for me though... It has some really good exclusives... unlike the X-box that has noting but ports from PC/Ports all their exclusives to PC...

I'm not getting into this one because it's pointless to argue over personal opinions. Especially with the people on these boards. :/

I probably shouldn't either but...oh well.

PS2 has good games but the problem is they flood the genres with the same rehashed crap in different packaging. There are probably over 50 turn-based RPG's exclusive to the PS2(not strategy mind you) but only 5 are worth your time or are original. Gamecube has only about 5-10 games in any given genre that are exclusive to it. These games are more likely to be of higher quality and even if they aren't all that great, like Billy hatcher and the giant egg, they at least try something new.

Nintendo exclusives are far more original than PS2's and X-box's few exclusives that are worth mentioning. Viewtiful Joe brought some original moves to the adventure genre, mario kart DD, though cartoony, is a unique and solid twist on the arcade racer, F-Zero is the fastest game ever made- you blink, you die (that's a pretty nice game concept), SSBM just owns with it's new charachters and maps not to mention using the best nintendo characters, the new zelda will blow minds, Animal Crossing was addictive as hell and there are few games like it, and the GC connects with the GBA for a much more unique gaming experience.

PS2 is great with titles like FFX, Gran Turismo3, SOCOM2, and others. But most of those games don't offer anything new or fresh besides graphis and better control. FFX is just like most others in the series, GT3 is an expanded version of the originals, and SOCOM2 is pretty much SOCOM. All these games are great but I've seen them all somewhere else in some way shape or form.

Gamecube is the best in my opinion, PS2 is an excellent console too, X-Box should never have been mentioned in the first place.
