        things blow imho
Yeah, they're really not that good.

There are a lot of bad basic abilities outside of regular mode/ low ranks.

Seekers are pretty much only good on port, otherwise also garbage (though they are stupidly good on port. Play the 'only use seekers' on port game and get like 20 kills np).

Bombs never kill anyone good unless you're lucky or they're bad.

        Balloons are OK.

Sprinkler is alright. Some maps have really annoying places you can put them.

Beacon and wall are some of the best sub moves moves, though location is really important.

Inkstrike and Kraken are pretty much king for specials, followed by shield, which is also pretty good but more situational. Everything else is too situational. Inkzooka is pretty good on zone but bad on tower where it's like, the enemy is 30 away and you load up your inkzooka and you're like "Alright, I got this" and they just kraken and ayyy lmao right into your end zone. Echolocator is stupidly good since Ninja squid is 100% on ranked, but probably not worth the tradeoff.

I actually like the seekers a lot x.x'

I have no idea how beacon even works actually to be honest.

Recently been trying out some more closer ranged weapons for the damn tower map while leveling gear /only plays turfwar really

Beacons allow people to squid jump to that location. You want to put them in safe locations where you can split a couple of directions from.

Seeker is great on port because you can't side step it. I can count the number of times I've ever been hit by one on another map though.

I'd use bucket right now, it's pretty strong. I was rolling in A- with it.

Make sure you have ninja squid + ink resistance if you're playing ranked. At that point, just swim up beside people and two shot them before they can do much of anything. Not to mention I feel like bucket fucks roller really hard which is the best thing ever.

              Re: Splatoon

i guess it really depends on the game type - i find comfort in the .52 gal in zone and the aerospray in turf, regardless of map. haven't played in a hot minute though, so i'll be sure to check out the bucket weapon

aerospray on kelp dome is disgusting though, sit on a walkway and coat the ground underneath so efficiently

                Crap Dome*

I've gotten over losing a million times on that map (Thanks splatfest for literally picking it like 9 times in a row, fuckin' shit.)

Not a big fan of the tower map because you're essentially forced to do battles and splat foes which isn't the point of turf war, like If that map is in rotation it's probably the only time I bring the roller... Or I'd consider that new splattershot that zooms now that I think about it.

But yeah my NNID is XelNya if anyone cares.

But yeah Aerospray on crap dome with seeker is pretty entertaining. I get a fair amount of splats.

But I play bad and get stuck with baddies. So there's that.

Does anyone still play this? I think the only reason why I don't play more often is because I don't really play with anyone that I know really.

I may get back into it. I'm still level 20 from when that was the cap. I got kind of bored because there was no team play with voice chat.
