Let's see, the biggest addition I think will be duel keyblade weilding. There will be a lot more appearances by different characters. The box will be shiny again(and that's why I'll probably buy it) and you need to play the gba kingdom hearts in order to know where the story came from. In a way, the GBA kingdom Hearts is number 2, and Kingdom hearts 2 is 3. so I suggest getting the kingdom hearts for GBA if you want to follow the story better. I know I will.

There has been no information regarding this as an in-game ability. The only thing we have seen regarding dual-weilding was a trailer showing a blonde haired boy who is not Sora.

Also, Vincent (from FFVII fame) will make an appearance along with Auron.

Kingdom Hearts 2 seems to be primarily about another kid with the same events happening to him as what happened to Sora, but with white enemies instead of black. I really don't have an explanation for this... there are heartless, so the new ones are...heartful? No sense. Anyway if you saw the trailer you'd see Sora getting owned by these new whiter enemies and Mickey coming to save him. You'd also notice the guys dressed in black; especially the one with red hair and two blades that look like wheels. You can see the new kid has the oathkeeper and the oblivion, which suggests that Sora quit or gave them to him. From "Special Secret" we see this new kid grown up with the same keyblades, and from Deep Dive you can see he throws one to the guy with the blindfold (Let's call him Riku...)

I wouldn't say dual weilding is the greatest addition. The story is the greatest addition.
