Sims + Animal Crossing from what it looks like. Reggie (Head of Nintendo America) is obsessed with Animal Crossing and the Mii-related stuff so I'm surprised I didn't see this coming.

There was a game-breaking glitch in Tomodachi Collection New Life that, among other things, allowed men to marry other men.

Now, keep in mind that Japan is considerably more conservative on these issues than America...
