Anybody still play it? I've been playing melee maps with my bro lately. Still as fun as ever.

I'm thinking about running through all Campaigns on Hard. Seems like fun.

I played through the Campaign on Hard but the last level of Frozen Throne was too difficult.

I used to play it all the time. UMS maps on there (Island Defense/DotA/Footmen/Hero Wars) were fun af.

I still play regular maps with Mike Weedmark sometimes

Yeah, Undead Campaign on Hard is pretty difficult but the Founding of Durator is ridiculously fun.

My bro and I usually play 2v2 with computers. We try to destroy the enemies ASAP without screwing up. My apparent specialty is humans. What about you guys? Also, harassing the enemy base with Blademaster never gets old.

hahaha the old BMharass technique. I'm damn good with Night Elves and Orcs but can't play UD or Humans. I don't understand why I just suck with them. I've played quite a bit of Ladder games...

wc3 ladder is still pretty active in asia regions

it's completely dead in the americas though (SA, NA)

Probably the differences between each race. I.E. Humans are inexpensive, Orcs are tougher, Undead swarm, from my experience.

Humans have the best air force and anti-air because of the Dragonhawks. Gryphon Riders combo well with Blood Mage with his Banish skill. Think of it as, unable to attack, slowed down and hammered by 50+ damage per Gryphon Rider.

But of course, the Humans land force are rubbish. Knights are slaughtered by Taurens, Abominations and Mountain Giants.

About twice a year, a group of us still get together and LAN Warcraft III. We play mostly Custom Maps like Footman Frenzy, Tree Tag or some random Tower Defense. I also play from time to time and stream it too but that is when I have a friend or two online that wants to play.

i remember undead being underpowered in the pro scene

anyways, i used to love playing customs in wc3 -- had a lot of fun with those

I preferred tank wars to be honest. But then, I preferred HLW, Hero Wars, WMW, WM, Elemental TD, etc...

Played loads of those, we should have an event in January. See if we can't get 8 people together to play some custom maps! I still have all of mine.

Yeah same! I play mostly Tower Defenses like Elemental, Gem, and Soldier. I also have other fun variants gathered from over the years

we could play any TD, or we could do some tag games...Hero battle maps would be awesome too but it's mostly just farm and then spam agility zzzz
