Gonna locally host a server every now and then just for fun.

PM me for server IP.

Rules:
- Must start with a new character, not allowed to bring items in
- Must be mediumcore
- Use common sense and don't be a dick or mess with people's shit

Update: If we are still playing by the time the update rolls around, this map will be abandoned and a new one will be made. However, you WILL be allowed to transfer as many items as you want from the current map to the new one, but ONLY items from this current map.

I might consider playing now and then. I have my computer on 24/7 so I could host almost indefinitely. I'll probably wait until whatever this update is to start.

I didn't hear of any upcoming updates, thought they stopped

in any case, what are the updates? are they big enough that it's not worth starting or what?

old progress wont be erased im sure..
AND i have never played the game before so the update doesnt matter to me

having a fucking BLAST
gonna be playing all next week and a half until i go to korea, and gonna be playing some more when i come back

Yeah, Redigit did say they were stopping. He lied big time. The new update is even larger than 1.1 was.

Old progress wont be erased, and you could keep your character, but there are a lot of changes to world generation that you wouldn't get. You'd have to make a new world to get them.

(in any case I'm glad you're having fun, Terraria is one of my favourite games. I have hundreds of hours logged.)
