FFR DayZ

I've been thinking lately because I've recently been getting interested in the mod for Arma2+Arrowhead called DayZ.

I know some of you FFR peeps like other games besides rhythm games, so what I propose is this! Some of us on this good ol' site should make a small group (or large, whichever works) of playing DayZ. I think it would be an interesting deviation from the norm, doho.

So then you might ask then, what is DayZ?

DayZ is, as I mentioned, a mod for Arma2+Arrowhead (As in you need both the main game and the expansion for Arma 2 to run it). In a nutshell, it's a mod that drops you on a map, and depending on what server, you start off with little to nothing. The goal of the game is to pretty much survive from a zombie apocalypse... and that's it.

Not only do you have to survive from zombies and your own needs, like eating and drinking, you have to survive from players who can either side with you, murder you, or simply trick and then murder you or worse.

I don't know, I think it would be kind of cool to play with some FFR people and survive and beat the crud of everyone else that wants to stand in our way.

I don't know how much you've played, but it gets really boring really fast.

Eh, I wouldn't imagine it gets too boring if you have set goals each time you play. I think that's one of the beauties of the game. One life you can have a goal to have the best gear in game... which is everyone's goal. One life your goal can simply be just to perform a grand theft auto on a group and take off on one of their rides.

i actually used to play a lot with my 2 other roommates

one time we were hiking across the mountain cliffs and one of our friends slipped and fell off... his character started going into hysteria and started shooting randomly (that's what happens sometimes) so we mercy-killed him


we told him he was shot by other people.

It can be about that if you want it to. Mostly it is like that because of other players, but it really is great fun once you start rolling. Especially if you have multiple people playing with you, which is why this topic exists, oho.
