celirra feels a bit more stilted/mechanical than in the vig turbo that I hosted

I think it's a bit silly to refer to a player's past games in all cases, but especially when they have such a tiny pool of time spent in game. I think it's more a case of realizing that being too lighthearted doesn't help town win, much to my chagrin.

Oh oops I forgot only people with a reputation of clowning around can post things like that, my bad. I hope you aren't getting caught up taking everything that happens on the first two pages literally, it can really cause mislynching, especially since it's usually just to provoke any kind of discussion instead of just emptiness.

I think you're glossing over a bit and generalizing, and not realizing I consider d0 to have phases; and as I've eluded to, and even mentioned in a slightly different context, until a certain point of time putting too much weight into d0 discussion is silly.
