How is this confusing?
Here are the likely scenarios:
1: You don't know what's going on in this sub forum.
Answer: You shouldn't be here if you don't have prior knowledge of what it is, or any intention on participating.
2: You don't understand how the game is played.
Answer: Read the sticky "The TWG Beginners Guide and FAQ"
3: You understand how to play but you don't understand signups.
Answer: Signups occur when the previous game ends. jTWG signups when jTWG ends, and TWG signups when TWG ends. If there are no signup thread going on (that are active) then you can't sign up at the current time. Pop in every once in a while and see if signups are starting anew.
