Solutions to your upload problems!
Well people have been going crazy making sims lately and many people have uploaded nothing
OR when you go to upload it you may get an error of some sort. Well this is here to let you know YOUR NOT THE ONLY ONE WITH THE PROBLEMS DO NOT SPAM YOUR PROBLEMS THIS IS HERE FOR YOU
Here are a few examples -----
1.If you are planning on uploading a sim and you want to include a banner Make sure you know the banner capacities/sizes Or else when you go to upload your sim then banner will cause the whole thing to fail. Your banner will still be uploaded with a broken image but a link to the full size and your sim will not be uploaded because of this.
2.PLEASE UPLOAD A ZIP CONTAINING YOUR FILES! I've seen lots of people lately uploading a banner and including a description and everything done nicely except they never remembered to upload the ZIP itself or they upload a EMPTY zip. PLEASE double check before submiting anything.
3.If you have one through everything carefully and you have double checked all of your information,checked to see if your banner is fine and that you have the right ZIP BUT when you upload it you get an error saying " This is not a valid .ZIP" An error similar to that anyways.
Do not panic and freak out,it is simple to fix.
(A)Go back to the folder you need to zip and zip it again.
(B)Now take that old ZIP and delete it
(C)Now take the new ZIP and upload it
(D)Relax everything is ok
*NOTE*
re-uploading the .zip file is IMPOSSIBLE as of right now, so if you need to re-upload, delete your listing and upload the new zip independantly
Those are the most common mistakes/errors you might experience while uploading DWI's to the simfile section. If ANY problems occur that have not be mentioned here PLEASE post here and someone will get back to you.
DO NOT PM Arch,Synth,Jello or any of those users because they are too busy to answer your questions most of the time and this is why we have this thread.
So remember if you have any problems not mentioned here and you've tried all of my steps come back and let me know right here.
