New file! Just finished working on this one. It's a battery feature, and it is bit more difficult, longer, and possibly more enjoyable than excerpt 4. It still retains 100% of the original score, as well as hand placements.

EDIT: In case you were wondering both these pieces of music were a part of a show performed live by the Troopers Drum and Bugle Corps (running Drum Corps International's World Class Circuit) last summer 2010. And yeah, I saw them many times, as I did drum corps as well.

Whew. This one took awhile. There's a rudiment in drumming called a "paradiddle", and they can get pretty technical. I pretty much accurately translated the paradiddles into the stepfiles, so it's quite an interesting one!

i made an edit to this so its more ~stepmania~ by that i mean i layered it and added variation/jacks when i saw fit. neat files though, fun

still gave you credit dont worry but i dont plan on release my edit anywho

sounds cool! i dont really care about credit either lol. all the credit goes to david reeves, the composer of these. i ignored bass drum and tenor drums so there was room for layering, what not.

There were a lot of 64th notes in paradiddle variations. I used them in the measures with 9 sixteenth note : half note / 8 sixteenth note : 6 sixteenth note / and 18:16. I dont think stepmania is that note specific since I can't even do something simple as a 5-let.

sweet. guess i got a lot to learn regarding the timing.

i just finished a sweet file that's called "compound meter rolls". (rolls are rolls.) out of the files i posted here so far, i think it's one of the best. still need to add the graphics though, so i'll post it here tomorrow.
