    26 7key Files!

Has all the file that have been released so far. I edited the folder names so it's (file author) file name.

    These are all the files.

Download and get on smo! (yes, smo supports 7key)
If you don't know about 7key, hit up this thread.

It's essentially solo with an extra key in the middle. Or IIDX without the turntable.

Please rerate them. I can 99% some 16s on keyboard, yet when I try 7-key for the first time, I can't even handle what is rated a "2" (Which would be a 9-10 by normal standards).

Edit: Don't even try the 1s, they're even harder than the 2s.
Edit 2: Yeah... I was excited to try this, but unless you're semi-familiar with something more than 4 columns, you're not going to get anywhere.
Edit 3: I apologize if this comes off as trolling, but everything I've written is accurate and true. Yes, the 1-2s are the easiest of the pack, but they'd be rated a 9+ by traditional standards, leaving new players no way to learn.

7key is not easy to get used to, by any means. The best way to get used to it is to play solo.
This was released essentially for whoever plays solo.

That doesn't make since though. There should be at least some beginner charts for 7-key so that beginner players (or players that are starting 7-key) can learn the game. You do realize that not every beginner will start off with 4 key or 6 key so why have a biased rating system based on people who can play solo? Goldenwind just made a good point about the ratings coming off as inaccurate.

I'm not trying to learn 7-key though. I was just agreeing with Goldenwind and decided to say something.

PS: I'm sure Goldenwind will find that link useful though lol

I tried making an easy 7key file. bumpy jumpy was the first 7key file to mark the revolution that is slowly creeping up

                i'll eventually make some more

                  Re: 26 7key Files!

The difficulty scale was more or less influenced from the Dark Chancellor scale of 1-10 which pretty much everyone has adapted to and started using in the past 2 years or so. However, I gotta agree that using the same scale for 6key and 7key files don't work well because both are much harder to learn and pickup in comparison to 4key.

Keep in mind that mostly everyone that has gotten into 7key has played 6key beforehand, so they have more of an advantage in terms of adapting to the 7th key in the middle. I guess that's what lead to the decision to use the 1~10+ scale, but honestly it should use a larger scale to objectively outline what exactly a 1 or 2 footer would even look like (right now the ratings are all over the place, rofl).
