          Re: DDR Solo Beginner Pack!

When I first played DDR (Konamix) I had the solo mode. Wasn't fun on pad. But does this mean there are existing solo files from the Konamix game? You should take some of those, unless you can't find them. Yea the pack wouldn't be made entirely by you, but it will make less work. Not sure where to get a hold of these files, but I recently stumbled upon a DDR solo mix link that I posted 2 days ago in the Beginner's Songpack Thread. Here's the link, found it on Otaku's Dream's Megaupload database/folder they used to/still use.

Don't know if it's from original DDR files or user made. Might interest you though.

This isn't for pad lol. This is like patashu's beginner solo pack but using songs from DDR.

This shows just how little solo is known amongst most people still. There's gotta be more exposure.

                Re: DDR Solo Beginner Pack!

I know it's not for pad, c'mon haha

If it's going to be a beginner pack, a lot of songs from a DDR Solo mix would be beginner enough. Unless there are certain patterns you're incorporating that Pad Solo wouldn't otherwise offer, 6key is 6key. Even if you took the beginner/light files from the pack I gave, you'd be saving time from making them yourself. I don't expect you to take all the songs and files, but it would quicken the process.

I was really only suggesting it because of Patashu's post. I looked through the thread and saw that it was being put on hold a lot. Thought I'd provide some way to make it go by quicker.

@bmah I tried solo plenty of times, and I have the two beginner pack series (that I know of) from Patashu and Xiaounlimited. I used to practice, and I started to improve, but I realized ahead of time I didn't have the time to dedicate to playing solo. I'm not even good at spread, so that type of muscle memory was out of my league.

Yes, it sure does take some time. I was skeptical myself at first, and never meant to play it for more than a few tries, but I caught on because I was too curious.
