How does one make stemania competitive? Make a league of course. Here's the deal. A set number of players are placed on a seed scale according to reputation and experience in simfile making. Those players are placed in a double elimination tournament bracket where each player is paired with another. Those pairs must face off each creating a simfile to present to a pannel of unbiased judges. Each author will remain anonymous until points are accorded and a victor is named. Here's how it works:
Aperson vs. Nemosta
simfiles submitted: tranzport/scream squad (at this point, the judges don't know which person made the file to avoid favoritism)
Criteria:
Song choice /5
fun/replay value /25
technicality /10
originality /10
each worth points for a total of 50. end of each round will look like this
Aperson (Tranzport) [35:32] Nemosta (Scream Squad)
the loser is sent to the lower bracket for a second chance. however, the winner from the lower bracket must win twice against the upper bracket winner to be able to win the championship finals.
The winner of the tournament will have the oppertunety to challenge a dark chancellor in a one on one iron simfile chef showdown. for this event a new pannel of judges will be chosen. if the challenger wins, he becomes the new dark chancellor. 1st 2nd and 3rd will also recieve credits (all i could think of really lmao)
At the end, The most notable simfiles will be sent to dark chancellors pack 2 where it will most likely be accepted.
each match will be done weekly to avoid delay. no submissions counts as a forfeit and the other player gets a BYE to the next round.

-To participate, you cannot be a dark chancellor nor a judge (no **** jenius)
-All files submitted during the tourney must remain UNRELEASED. Failure to comply will result in disqualification
-Try to keep content original, as it will weigh on scoring (meaning dont step ageha)
-Files must be submitted to the mentionned e-mail with username within the time frame. Failure to do so will result in a forfeit.
-Files should preferably cater to spread audiences with difficulty higher than 1 dcp rating, but index files are accepted as long as the file remains fun.

1st: 84,000 ffr credits + Challenge one of select Dark Chancellors for a spot in da secret forumz
2nd: 30,000 ffr credits + secret simfile
3rd: 10,000 ffr credits + secret simfile
