Please help!!!!!!!!!!
So I was just putting the finishing touches in DDReam on a file that I put an obscene amount of time into. I just saved it one more time, and then my computer crashed. However when I went back to the file it said everything was blank!!!! Where'd my **** go?!?!?!?!?!? How do I get it back?!?!?! I spent forever on that file.

Maybe you should remember where you saved it and backed it up on a flash drive.

if you played the file in sm and saved it atleast once there then you can just use the OLD.sm file

Maybe if in the simfile folder there is a song.sm.old
Just delete the .old and see if theres anything there.Comment

delete the .old and see if you can load it from sm. open up sm and the go to edit songs and go to the songComment

nono, a windows system restore. you do it in control panel -> system -> and then there should be a tab called system restore there
if you don't know what it is there's a good chance you don't have it activated though =(
this kind of thing happened to other people before (i've not heard of anyone getting ****ed by DDReam though), i'm not sure if anyone has had success recovering their file =(. it happened once to meComment

Do you still have the *.dsx file? If so, does it have data in it? Another thing to check is whether the ds, dsx, mp3, and/or sm file (if any) are in the same folder.Last edited by jyris1; 05-7-2009, 06:52 AM.I designed ddreamstudio.

lol I did. But I guess since I was in the middle of editing in DDReam when it crashed it wiped all the data by fluke.
I don't think it's attributed to DDReam. Just a fluke data wipe due to a piece-of-crap computer.
