Simfile question

I am working on a simfile for the song Who am I, composed by Mizoguchi Hajime, but it is 8 min long. I was wondering if I should do the whole song or split it. I am leaving it up to you guys cuz i want it to be played

Personally, I don't like to sit and try to play a stepfile for 8 minutes, regardless of difficulty. I don't even like to play a stepfile for 5 minutes. You can split it up into parts, or you can cut it and make the file a cut version. I mean, you can also step all 8 minutes, but my personal vote is that I wouldn't have as much fun like that.

Bottom line: unless it was a specific request from a friend or something, if I saw an 8 minute file, chances are slim I would play it.

since you're not really known, hardly anyone will play it. you need stepmanier cred first

how do you get cred without doing this stuff? so im gonna do it anyway, oh and btw i have i think 4 stepfiles on here, but several have to be downloaded

As for an 8 minute song, behanjc got an 8:34 song in FFR. OSTER World Tour. Marathon songs are welcome. Moreover, I don't think 8 minutes is that long.

the only reason this file is bearable is because the song varies every 30 seconds
actually, it's a pretty mediocre file. no colorfests or anything cool etc
no "errors" though hahaha
