    My first simfile!

I've never made a simfile yet, can you guys give me feedback on it? It can be positive or negative, obviously, just try not to be rude or anything.

    Thanks so much =)

I hate to break it to you, but it's offsync. =/ You have BPMs of 60 and 30, and the actual BPM is 127.98. You can use MixMeister to find some pretty accurate BPMs (it still screws up some songs but hey ^_^).

Also, this may be a pretty fun level for beginning players, but perhaps you should consider making a harder difficulty. There's much more movement in this song that you can put to use. I found some of the holds to be placed in odd places too. =/

I highly recommend getting a hold of MixMeister.

Thanks! I didn't know that was the actual bpm. I guess stepmania messed it up. Lol, thanks I'll get mixmeister =D

Uhm, I don't know what mixmeister to get. BPM analyzer?

Also, I don't know how to make stepmania set the bpm to the right speed. (Well actually I kinda do but it always makes it worse..) I know how to make it faster but it usually has little gaps in it...what do I do ><

Gah! I also don't think I can do a harder difficulty because I wouldn't be able to test it because I can only play Standard difficulty in ffr, so it'd be awful..

Yes! The BPM analyzer is the one you want.

As for setting the BPM to the right "speed"..... I don't quite know what you mean. Perhaps you mean a comfortable scroll speed? If that's the case, you should look up a tutorial on how to use and create your own "CMODs" if you don't know how already. Assuming you set the BPM correctly, Stepmania will keep it that way until you tell it otherwise (change it later on in the song).

As for testing levels, you can always use the assist tick / autoplay in the editor..... while playing, F4 toggles the assist tick and F8 toggles autoplay. With the assist tick, you can hear when the note hits the very center Marvelous frame, so you can tell if each arrow is in sync with the music. You can also slow the music down using the "Rate" option in "Song Options" so you can fine tune.

There are plenty of guides so I don't want to spend too much time reiterating information, but if you come up with another question, you could PM me or catch me on AIM and I'll be happy to try and help.
