Re: First sim: Phoenix Wright ReMix
Save your credits, I don't need them, but here's my review.
This obviously isn't a pad file because of the 32nds during the long freezes so I'm judging it as a keyboard file. If it IS supposed to be for pad, you might want to learn how to make a pad chart because this looked like it would be extremely annoying to do on foot.
the song has potential, but the steps were way too simplistic, I spotted quite a few offsync notes, mostly the random colored ones that weren't necessary since most of the notes were fairly straightforward rhythm-wise. It's very understepped and lots of interesting sounds were ignored. It lacked consistency because you randomly switched which sounds you followed. Needs a lot more layering and some pitch relevance.
The fact that you kept the whole file at a halved BPM kinda irked me and I think it would fit better style-wise if you douled the BPM at the appropriate places. This is just for aesthetic reasons and it's not a technical issue.
Overall, this simfile isn't all that great but I hope you'll take my advice and learn how to make better ones.Quack quack quackComment

Thanks, you were very helpful. I don't think I will make another file/fix up this one because I don't like the song as much now as I did when I first heard it. I read your guide though, And will probably make some more sims.Comment
