    Help =(

    So, i made a simfile and i posted it on the simfile DB but says timechanges and my intention was to make it so that it was playable on ffr.com. So, i thought about it and i didn't relaly understand what time changes meant cuz when i checked the file again the BPM was the same throughout the whole song. What can i do so that it is playable on the site's database?

        No. When you set a period of time, besides the BPM, in the step chart that's in yellow, that's called a stop. When Stepmania reaches that area when C-Mods aren't on, Stepmania will stop there for the time alloted.

        Ex. 0.30 means a third of a second and it will be in yellow.

        If you happen to have the Goblinz file by Macgravel, take a look at the chart for stops.

        Also, there may be a BPM change somewhere.

          what does a stop do? tell me that and i might understand it. I'm still thinking you're descibring a time period where it jumps a measure or just freezes a measure in a certain timeframe. I'm slow =( but please help me.i'll try my best to get you.

            Have you changed the BPM anywhere in your song?
            Do the steps get any faster in any places or slow down?

              That's alright. I can explain in pictures so it makes it easier.

              The yellow by the lines are the pauses.
              The red by the lines are the BPM changes.
              Now in the file...

              When I reach that point in the file, it changes the BPM to zero for a limited amount of time. The time is that 0.18, which is in seconds by the way. Right after the time, it changes back to it's original BPM.
              Remember, seconds.milliseconds

              Look for that in the file and you should find either one of those. It isn't a big deal if you want to keep those pauses/BPM changes in your file, just the person trying your file will need to download it instead.
