We've all seen them on FFR's simfile database. Corrupted files. Files that when extracted results in a message saying that it is an unknown format or corrupted. There is a way to open the files and put them in Stepmania.
1. Go to the page where your corrupted sim file is.
2. Double click the download link, but instead of clicking save click open.
3. When it is finished downloading, a screen will pop up with the usual menu
4. Extract the folder to the desktop
5. copy and paste to the usual place where all you songs are,
