amazing steps?

ok this is weird, how can any simfile artist make like almost PERFECT
steps to songs? espically rebirtho, wouldnt making simfiles be soo much
fun and easier if there was a program that synced the arrow keys
that you did to a song, like ANY song -- just pressing arrow keys whenever you felt liked in the song instead of numbers 1-4? i mean it sounds so gay to
press numbers and even weeks to actually make part of a song good
there has to be some way where you can do the arrow key thing
that i mentioned or if stepmania is the only thing that you can do
with the 1-4 thing

let me sum it up;
can you make a simfile USING arrow keys, you know those things
you use to play FFR? instead of pressing numbers on stepmania
and what does 'ctrl + r' do ?

The answer is they step songs with a steady bpm.

Rarely are songs stepped without some sort of steady bpm.
