    BPM Trouble

    I've been working on a simfile for too long now, and I can't seem to make up my mind on what the bpm should be. The song is Aquatic Ruin Zone from Sonic the Hedgehog 2. If someone could tell me what they think the appropriate bpm should be, I would be grateful.

    I have it at about 175 right now, but it seems a bit fast for this song. I uploaded it into the database, here's the link.

      I got 131 by manual tapping. May not be perfectly correct and I don't feel like taking the time to check it in the editor.

      ps 131 * 4 / 3 = 174.666667

      I recommend you use 131 though and use the 4/3 compress to what you have.

          I'm sorry that i know nothing about this but how do you get the bpm by manual tapping....isn't that tricky....

                  I put it through Mixmeister and it gave me 131.07. Usually, I round to the nearest whole number (in this case, 131.00) and it works fine.

                  Just do what Yesssss said.
