There's probably already a sticky to this, and I've probably already read it, and wasn't able ot understand it.

I need to know how to make a DWI stepfile for a MP3 I already have, using Stepmania. Eh...HOW?

Here's some blanks

In DWI format

In SM format

http://ddrgeek.com/uploader/files/2/steps.sm

Download the blank DWI/SM
Fill in the Artist, Title, and BPM.
Then put it in a folder with your mp3.
Place the folder in the Songs directory of your Stepmania Program Files
Edit it in the Stepmania Editor (go to SM and choose EDIT/SYNC SONGS)

Right-click and save as, otherwise it'll just open in the browser since it's just a text file.

Well, thx, but right in the middle of figureing out how to set the BPM, the stupid thing crashed on me

Google MixMeister BPM Analyzer. It gives you pretty accurate results if your song is electronic, has one constant tempo, and doesn't have a ****ed up beat structure.
