Does this trick work to implement weird note intervals?

Apparantly if you want, say, 36th notes in a measure, you can edit the .sm file so that the measure has 36 lines in it (as well as the notes) and it'll give the right interval when playing the song.

If this works I've got two songs to update...

I did something like that for a sim that had 20th notes in it once.

I had to use some 20th notes for Chik Habit, and it works, but it will automatically convert it to the nearest 192nd notes.
