This isn't a simfile. I wouldn't make another Playdoh simfile, because it would be the same as someone elses.
I've played Mwerp's, Omegix's, and newly released Annon's Playdoh file, and I have to say that the song itself is so perfect that I believe it's hard to compare these three files.
What I'm asking here is some form of distinction. I play these files back to back constantly, 3 Playdohs in a row, and I find it hard to compare. Mwerp's is almost a pad file, no doubt is it paddable, and it seems that it has a climax to it and I think the file is extremely well crafted.
Omegix's file is the one that turned me onto the song itself-and honestly, his file is absolute gold. There would be no comparison to any other if I hadn't played them all back to back and seen the similarities. Mwerp's was released before Omegix's, a long time before Omegix's, but the striking similarities between the two simply in step pattern make me shudder for the song.
The last file I played in these three was Annon's. Annon and I have been trading files with each other for a long time now, and I've come to expect a certain style that has definitely come about by his file creations, most notably in Playdoh, Felys, P8107, Gravity, tons of his files are fast and fun, the way he does the steps comes to mind with the word transition, that there are no abrupt changes, only a nice solid file that I respect. The odd part about Annon's is that I asked him to step it. After I played his felys I wondered what he would follow in the song. My guess was simply 16ths on the piano with doubles on the bass. Duh. But would it follow, and would it keep Playdoh as the stepped song that I got out of Omegix's and Mwerp's?
Yeah. Annon's Playdoh is no doubt one of his best files, and still a rival to Omegix's file. The two's steps both follow the song similarly, and rather distinctly. Omegix's file leaves out some steps but comes back to me with a feeling, more like the song, and why no doubt in my mind that people rave about his file. But Annon's comes to me with almost every sound captured without blowing the file up-as I said early with his transition like steps.
So what I'm asking here is not blasphemous comments that really don't matter, but you as the reader to play all 3 (all are available on bemanistyle, mwerp's is under Playdough, but just search Sekty for the artist) and compare and feel what I feel from the song.
It's a damn good song.
