Oddly enough, I've always wanted to see hard steps for Burnin' the Floor. Maybe I'm just weird. Anyways, I'll download these when I get home, and let you know what I think. ^_^

        Alright.

First off, I play from my flash drive, and, for some reason, I never have the right BPM or GAP. No matter how perfect the file. So, consequentially, I cannon comment on thoes areas of your files.

I'm a DDR guy at heart, and having been playing for 5 years now, I always would rather play hard DDR files opposed to other hard files, so, props for Burnin' the Floor and Daikenkai.

Burnin' the Floor - There is alot of 16th stream. Sorta repetetive for the type of song, and there were times I didn't hear the steps going to any part of the music. (I play on a laptop with SHITTY shound, and, could be I'm not hearing it, schwatev.) As a general rule, you should make every single note in your song go to at least some part of the audio. If I'm sadly mistaken, and it's perfectly with the music, my appologies. ~_~ Other than the sorta repetetive, and cross-over filled streams (most people dislike crossovers in 16th stream, but, if done right, it adds to difficulty, and can be fun,) I liked the file. I'll definetly play it again.

Daikenkai - This song reminded me alot of the normal chart, with the freezes and the 8th notes before and after the speed up. But, there were the 16th notes with the drums. The part I always wished was there when I play on the machine. ^_^ I think I heard what all of the 16ths were going to, again, shitty audio. The only problem was the really repetetive jumps at the end. All sets of two jumps of the same direction. Maybe if it were only for half of the length it was (the end half) and change the first half, that would be good.

What was it.. Genocide? Yes. - I played edit. (oni looked too easy, AAAed edit) It was fun. Funnest out of the three yet, and, had the least flaws. I like the use of 32nd notes and 24th notes, as far as I can tell, it was right with the notes in the music (I'd have to listen again to be sure). I also liked the freeze placement. Really.. I don't have much bad to say about this file, other than, the cross-overs, and the fact that I'd like to see some harder steps (if none exist?) ^_^
        I'll play this one again.

Lastly... good old quasar. - There are too many files for this song, and, I only play the one from Keyboard megapack. (forgot who made it ;( ) (which is rarely as it is) Ok. this file was better than I expected, but, the fact that it's quasar instantly takes away from it's value.
Cross-overs. All over. Without thoes, the steps would have been good. (Oh, I played edit, by the way) The triples and quads caught me off gaurd, almost missed one, but were not too misplaced. The only other thing, the slowdowns. If there were any? (I play on C mods) with the orange 32nd notes. It would be better if you could get the bpm perfect so all the notes could be 4th (red) notes.

Alright, there it is. (I wish someone would actually play my files and tell me what to fix ~_~) Oh, and, The point of all that wasn't just to bash your stuff. I had fun playing thoes, and they were good files. Just constructive criticism .

        Best to worst:
        Genocide Edit
        Burnin' the Floor Oni
        Quasar Edit
        Daikenkai Oni

        By the way,3 questions.
How long have you been making stepfiles?
Was one of thoes your first file?
        Any others?

        -DBP

Edit: Oh snap. I just saw how you labled your first, second, third, and fifth simfile. I feel stupid. That answers two of my questions.

Thanks for your comments. I know Quasar is overstepped, I really shouldn't have done that one. Daikenkai was made a long time ago, and I never fixed it. Burnin' the Floor was made really fast, so I didn't really check for note-music matching. As for all the crossovers, they're there for difficulty, and to make it easier for some play styles. Yes, I do have more almost ready, but they need gfx. (hint, hint) Thanks, DBP I'll make the next ones better. I'll try to spend more time on the quality of the different levels and make the edit harder maybe.
