Most of the best simfile artists generally stay away from rock music, because a lot of it has inconsistent BPMs and is hard to step.

One exception to this is Rhapsody. They make metal about fairy tale stuff. Check Bemanistyle when it comes back up.

Also, check out the FFR Simfile Warehouse. Surely there are a few rock songs there.

You should check out Stratovarius on bemanistyle. They are in a similar style of music as Rhapsody, but TEEX makes good stepfiles for their songs.

yeah but afrobean is right. it IS metal about fairy tales and you silly kids that think it's actually good music will have to accept that eventually.

for the record I think that rhapsody, like scooter, is fun in small doses, but is not actually good music. In fact you could probably generalize that for all happy hardcore and power metal.

If you check the Stepmaniaonline.com forums, GeneralKaos, myself, and a bunch of other stepfile makers are working on an "All American Rock Simfile Pack". I'm working on Rancid -Time bomb and Streetlight Manifesto - A Moment Of Violence, which are my first sims ever. GeneralKaos is heading this project, so ask him who else is doing stepfiles, because I have no idea.

To bump again (missed this thread) I have a few rock sims like some SOAD, Linkin Park, Metallica etc if that's what you were looking for
