    Dr. M

I'm really on a roll this week, 3 simfiles. Awesome song, had to make steps for it. Very on beat, one of my best. Check it out.

    RE: Dr. M

I liked it. The 16th runs in this one feel a lot more natural. I just have a little gripe. You should be making at least 2 stepcharts for your sims. The one set of steps on this one is right within my difficulty level though, so I'm happy.

Also, I have a question, what is the song that this song was remixed from?

I'm not sure, it sorta sounds like a mix of William Tell, and another classical song.

Thanks for the comments, and if more people start liking this I probably will start making more difficulties.

Dr. M is a remix of Mozart's "Symphony No. 40".

Updated with standard steps, for those who prefer something easier.

I made steps myself to this a little while ago, so of course I had to try it out.

The double jacks don't really fit.

The melody near the end that you were following had a few 16th notes where there wasn't any sound to the melody, and it would have been nice if you had put in arrows to the grace notes that were in the song.

You mean the part with the five jumps in a row?
                Those are bass drum 16ths.

And the other quick jacks are necessary because it's the same 2 or 3 sounds.

I understand what they are for guy, they just don't need to be doubles.
The music doesn't get anymore dramatic so there's no reason to make them doubles, and it's not bass drum, it's a tympani.. not that it really matters.

I don't know what you're talking about with the 2 or 3 sounds. I'm talking about the part when the orchestra plays the melody. The only part that really annoys me is the part when three notes with one grace note each are played, but instead you put in like 5 16th notes.

                    Oh well, guy.

Not really one of those files that you can be too creative with.

Try my newest simfile Ducking No. 9, it's a lot better (in my opinion).

You don't have to be creative. You just need to follow the music.

fusi0n, what the hell is a grace note?
So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(

In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz.

So now I'm on Twitter @NoahWright.
And I write the blog for their website.

Plus I do cool programming in-house that you'll never see. =O

A grace note is a note of very small rhythmic value that appears right before another note that is on a strong beat. Usually, when found in written music scores, the note is smaller than regular notes.
I watched clouds awobbly from the floor o' that kayak. Souls cross ages like clouds cross skies, an' tho' a cloud's shape nor hue nor size don't stay the same, it's still a cloud an' so is a soul. Who can say where the cloud's blowed from or who the soul'll be 'morrow? Only Sonmi the east an' the west an' the compass an' the atlas, yay, only the atlas o' clouds.

Yeah, except in this song the grace notes happen on the beat where the notes start, which isn't typical, but they did that in the baroque period so I'm guessing that's when this song was made.

Here's a pic from my sim at the part I'm talking about. Slow down the music and you'll hear it pretty easily.
