    The Ultimate Stepfile

I've done it. After 30 hours of work I'm done with the best, most entertaining stepfile I've ever made. Excellent keyboard steps, and insane pad steps with the standard, light, and beginner steps clocking in at 10 8 and 5 respectively.

If you only get one of my simfiles, get this one.

Bemanistyle Link (Please rate it!): http://bemanistyle.com/sims/simfile.php?id=3097

    FIXED NOW.

Damnit, I had to notice this release just as I was leaving for work.

Playing this will probably be the first thing I do when I get home.

Just DLed it...there are only challenge steps, and they aren't nearly as good as the Tournamix steps...
So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(

In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz.

So now I'm on Twitter @NoahWright.
And I write the blog for their website.

Plus I do cool programming in-house that you'll never see. =O

Yeah I fucked up and uploaded the wrong version. Redownload it again and you should get everything. Or use the BMS link.

            9.5/10

Reach has done this file already, and I personally prefer that one... But this is very good as well, not that because that one's easier, but the whole song does not have a lot of doubles that are somewhat out of place. The BPM changes and the halts were a plus side over the first "fixed" Omega on this one.

And, uh, Brace Yourself and Run the Place Red are my favorites (and IMO the best two), talking about your other works.
You cannot possibly have a room any better than this.

Okay. I was going to resubmit it to FFR, but JESUS CHRIST IT'S SLOW. So get it from bemanistyle. That has the correct and much more fun version.

I just find the song annoying after playing 3 versions ;o. Steps = good.

I still like Reach's better for some reason.

You worked long and hard on this sim as you mentioned and it shows. Great graphics and etc..

                        Okay.. how to review this.

The graphics are very professional and beautiful. You did a great job on those. The BPM changes are great and fit the whole emotion of the song.

However, the steps are kinda weird. You have jumps when you shouldn't, long streams when they don't really fit. I realize you're creating your own rhythms, but you have long runs when there's practically no energy in there, and jumps to little minimal bassline stuff when you have single note runs prior to that in the challenge. As for the challenge, the minimal jump thing applies there too and for keyboard steps you really didn't go to the music much like you could have

I realized you worked long and hard on this, I can understand where you're coming from. But I don't think the time someone spends on a simfile has any relevance to the quality of it.

                        Overall I'd give this file a 7/10 or 7.5/10

it has beautiful graphics, it's perfectly onsync (bpmwise, gap is different on lots of different PCs) and the whole thing is structured well. You just... weren't all there with the notes.

It was great, different style to mine. But I really don't think it was any better than mine aside from the fact you put steps to every difficulty, which is great, but in my case I only played the 2 oni's and the heavy. Good work, though. You used the dragon in the bg too :< It looks more professional than mine. heh.

9.7 on BMS with 15 votes. I'd say that's pretty good.

Also: Yours had some weird doubles and didn't flow well, I tried to fix all that on mine. And yours goes really offsync in the end because you speed it up on the bag BPM instead of the MAX BPM.

Apparently the pad steps are something special. I've heard great things about them on DDRUK and from various pad gods like cynic.

Ugh. Stops. I hate stops. Even if you've memorized the song with stops and starts that close together you will always be thrown off.

The rest of the song is good though. It all runs smoothly together.
