So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(
In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz.

hydrojakep, i dont have those smilies, and i think one smiley noteskin is enough
Snapps, just copy the folder of an existing noteskin and edit the graphics. very rarely do u need to do more than that. for this i just typed the smilies in AIM as big as it would let me, took a screenshot, then i just resized them to be the size of the arrows and saved them with the arrow filenames. also, i had to change all the filenames so they didnt have "4x1" at the end, and i had to go through all the .sprite files and change the file names they referred to so it wasnt for one with 4x1 at the end, and for the hold notes i just made a repeating yellow circle. that took a bit of work because i had to make sure it repeated well for long holds and that the bottom cap matched up with the body of the hold. oh, and then, to save space, rather than just copying the hold note and giving it a 4 different names (one for each direction) i just made .sprite files for the other directions. that way it's smaller in size. after all, the holds all look the same anyways. usually they dont take that much work, tho. just change the color of the arrows :P
everybody else, thanks for your support.
