you seem cool. you should stick around, the community here sucks but we're all friends anywayOriginally posted by cetakaI saw a flyer on a bulletin board at school asking for high-functioning aspergers/autism people to participate in some kind of experiment, and all I could think was, that sounds like a great place to meet girls.Comment

Aww, thanks for the nice welcome guys. Sorry, didn't mean to spam up your thread. I'll be keeping an eye on this thread and may venture out into the wilderness eventually.Comment

Re: Kirlian Selections Project
well my reasoning for this is because after getting to the 1:30 mark, it plays almost exactly like zagh's edit (though some minor layering differences) and i at least want to do something different with it while still being accurate. not following PR in piano pieces really irritates me.
by the way, are you stepping the outro, or stopping at the end of the piano piece?
choof have you asked zagh if any of his charts for shortcuts could be used for this?Last edited by rCaliberGX; 12-19-2013, 06:56 PM.Comment

Re: Kirlian Selections Project
looking forward to it! zagh's chart just has an emphasis on PR in the slower sections with anchor js in the faster bits. layering at some parts is exaggerated but justified.Yeah, I was worried about that too. I can't remember Zagh's file specifically, but I think my vision of the song is more heavily layered than what his was. I could be wrong though since I'm purposefully not looking at it until after I'm done with my file so I don't get biased. And yee, I was planning on doing it as a weird artsy thing actually with mines and BG edits. Might work, might not.

Success \o/Kirlian Shores - James May
So far, the intro has been stepped with mini-freezes, grace notes, and now mines. Thoroughly enjoyed this chart, from beginning to end. Layering is consistent, sync is great, and patterns roll into each other really well. Pitch relevancy seemed iffy in some spots, but for the most part, it felt okay. I think a big part of why I liked this chart so much is that there are no awkward patterns during the chorus, due to the lack of colored walls. Really well done. Accepted
Fun fact: originally the chart had 152 mines before I had to tone it down oops x:
Also, I am going to be fixing it up a bit more on Saturday so expect that with hopefully my Light chart for this.Last edited by James May; 12-19-2013, 08:24 PM.bananas

Stay in the communityFound this thread through Benn's AMA. Just want to say, holy shit, I'm so excited for this, and you are all gods for making it happen. Stepmania was how I discovered flashbulb many years ago.
Edit: Oh my god I forgot how old this account was. I don't even want to think about how bad my old posts are. Edit 2: Why did I look.
As for the old posts, been there done that (as a 11 year old on an old account).
Anyways, nearly done with my chart for...(cherokee script)/Pain Highways*/ᎡᎯᏍᏛ ᏠᏓ
