Quick question:

Did we release Red Fraction Pack 2? Or did we just turn it into the Dark Chancellors pack? I have two folders on my back ups (RFPack2 Accepted and In Judgement).

Just wondering.

EDIT: I remember SMGpack3 turned into Red Fraction pack, so I was just wondering if the same thing happened with RFpack2 turning into Dark Chancellors.

Yup! RFpack2 became the Dark Chancellors Pack.

Funnily enough, Dark Chancellors Pack 2 then ended up becoming FFR Community Pack III before that became part of Xoon 5. This community doesn't do a very good job with sequels.

Sometimes it's not that we're not good with sequels, but they are just very untimely.

SMGpack3 turned into RFpack because of my departure from SMGroove. RFpack2 became Dark Chancellors pack because of Red Fraction shutting down. And Dark Chancellors 2 was turned into whatever because most of the active veteran simfile authors called it quits around the same time (08/09). Good thing you guys stuck around and kept the community alive

Also, on a separate note. I'm trying to get my skill back on SM, should I get the FFR community packs? Are they any good?

EDIT: regarding the FFR Community Packs:
You can probably live without 1 (I say this having made the pack LOL), but 2 is great and 3 has some fairly good files. 4 is by far the best
Then there are the season packs (starting with Summer 2011 and ending with Summer 2012), and all five are great. Spring 2012/Summer 2012 are my personal faves, but all of the packs have their lion's share of quality files.

Fuuuuuck that's a lot of packs hahaha maybe when I get my skill back I'll give them a chance. I'm practicing with f4 right now lol still trying to FC blue army
